This restaurant came highly recommended by locals. We chose to eat here and experience the wonderful food that was offered. This is an order at the counter and find a table type of place. The food was so flavorful and fresh with vegetables and bacon in the egg white special. Cooked to perfection, we'll done per my request.

Every order was perfect, include side dishes and late orders. She even suggested we switch our seats to a sunnier area for warmth. When delivering the last order (trudging over river rocks) she stumbled and fell to her knees....never losing control of the last plate of pancakes. If ever there was an olympic medal for a server this girl deserves a Gold Medal...

Just lucked out and had best breakfast of life and i just turned 62. We stopped at Maine Diner, but was told wait was an hour so thought we would try For the Love of Food & Drink because its near the Beach Rose Inn where we r staying. The food was amazing and service was great! Sat at counter and all the meals getting plated looked fabulous...

Odd name and location, but a terrific find in Wells. Lots of home-made items (my Reuben had their own corned beef, which I chose over the Turkey New York sandwich which also sounded great -- must come back when I'm hungry again, which based on this lunch won't be for days). Terrific service by professional but warm waitress...

Just finished an absolutely delicious breakfast at For The Love of Food and Drink Cafe. It was clean, service was great, so reasonably priced. The food was fresh, tasty and the presentation was wonderful! They catered a brunch the day after my son's wedding at their venue and that, too, was perfect. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.
